Donatella! Nikki Minaj! Prince! Oh my!

Set at a transformed "Versace Hall” - Pier 57 on Manhattan's West Side Highway - the Versace for H&M extravaganza was the gdfather of fashion events.

For me, it started in LA at a fitting at the Versace store. I, along with a few other bloggers, got to rock the collection to the actual show. I know, pinch me?

The evening started backstage, where
we anxiously waited to meet Donatalla. The A-list cast of models, complete with Natasha Poly, Abbey Lee and Daphne Groeneveld, snacked (and snacked, and snacked) while getting their hair and makeup done. When Donatella walked in, the tone of the night was set: glamour, rock n'roll, fun, VERSACE!

The show started; it was such a rush. Models walked in both directions rocking V
ersace signature looks - chain-mail and fringed mini-dresses, studded black leather, bright bombers and a green palm-tree print (which symbolized for Donatella her late brother Gianni at the height of his powers). The show ended with a roar of applause as Donatella walked. And, as she exited the runway, a wall lifted to reveal the disco ball-clad concert venue.

She urged everyone to join her as she danced into the room. Then, after a few cocktails, it was showtime. Nicki Minaj AND Prince performed. Need I say more?!?

Prince closed with "Purple Rain" upon which everyone bolted to the shopping event, which was complete mayhem! I've never seen anything like it. Ever! It is after-all one of the most coveted collections of the year which will undoubtedly sell out when it hits stores on Nov 17th.

A special thank you H&M, Versace and Whispr Group for such an amazing evening!

I'm wearing a Versace dress, Versace for H&M leather jacket,
Versace for H&M shoes and, of course, a Versace for H&M bag.
