Lately, the simpler the outfit the better. I'm really loving the hot weather we've been having and easy no fuss dresses like this are perfect for the heat. I was also stalking these shoes for ages but was never able to find them in my size, so when I finally found them I was a giggly little girl. Hope you're all enjoying your summer!
Forever 21 london launch
Finally managed to sort through the pics from the forever 21 london launch! The party itself was amazingly entertaining and well organized, I have to give extra points for the 3D hologram fashion show! I had my uni deadline the morning after, which is my excuse for looking a bit tired in some of the photos..
I wore a super old dress that I got from oasis a few years ago... I'm not sure why I picked it for the night, I think I was aiming for the most colourful piece in my wardrobe. It does look a bit carrie but I love the almost retro feel of it, suited in to the scenery for sure.
The week after when the store properly launched I had the privilege to attend a preshopping event, the night before the big opening and just before I left london! I picked a few pieces and about 10 rings... you have to go check it out yourself, the 3 story giant we finally have on oxford street!
I have to thank forever 21 for having me around, I had such a great time and will be hitting the store again as soon as I get back to london!
I wore a margiela blazer and shorts, helmut lang knit, chloe sevigny x opening ceremony boots

"All business, no play." Can you believe some dude on the street hollered that at me as if it were a pick up line? What the hell? Seriously dude, you saw me from half a block away and that's the best you could come up with? COME ON!
Working on a mini make over for this blog. I haven't touched this layout in over two years so we'll see how far I get........

Packing
Packing for a last minute trip to palm springs, a much needed getaway! Whenever I travel, I always find myself with a broken bag, or one that doesn't fit all that I need to fit. On my last trip to NYC both the handles on my bag broke and I had to carry my belongings with me like a small child. So I've made it my mission in life to find the perfect travel bags, and this weekeneder by Bella Borz is perfect for short 2 day trips. Now I just need to find that perfect suitcase! Anyway, I'm off now but expect to see sunny desert shots soon!
Nice one AA
I am completely in love with the neon nail polish range from american apparel! I should have picked up the pink and blue while I was on it... might just turn out be the only one's I'll be wearing this summer...

Losing My Religion
While many fashion designers have drawn inspiration from the Catholic faith, appropriating crosses, rosaries, and even clerical garb for their own twisted purposes, fewer have looked towards Judaism. It is not everyday that you hear about a designer making "couture yarmulkes," and when I heard the term I admit I initially guffawed. However, I was familiar with the label, Young&ng, and their completely unique line of statement headwear and jewelry, and knew I should take a look. The fall collection includes a jagged gold headband that slightly resembles a crown of thorns, a cuff that is cut to look like shattered glass, and of course, a metal "yarmulke crown" with a honey-comb like cutout pattern that is meant to be worn like a fascinator. Even if a bejeweled yarmulke isn't your thing (it also carries a pretty heavy pricetag of over $1000), the other pieces are undeniably rad. The very secular looking gold haircomb with a metal fractal growing out of it is more to my (atheist) liking.
