I've not been able to sleep for a little while. I usually just lay there going over the movie that is playing in my head on repeat of things I need to do, things I have to remember, things I should have done.

Where I live some mornings it gets to like 85 degrees before 9am. So my favorite thing to do is just hang out in front of the fridge while waiting for my coffee to finish brewing. It's not a fancy fridge, just a cold one. Now I'm off to work, but here are a few links to my favorite recipes ( and favorite things to eat) in case you're in the mood to whip something up.

Oh you know, just hanging by the lemon tree in my sunny yellow romper. Excited for june gloom to be over, and we can all start to endlessly complaining about the excessive heat in LA.

I love these chloe inspired shorts, they're surprisingly super taylored and fit amazing! Wore this last weekend, right before the rain. Finally it's feeling like fall here and I get to wear all my favorite coats and tights! I'm on the hunt for a really really good mascara, any suggestions? I currently use Benefit's Bad Gal waterproof but it's the worst and always smears all over my face after 2 hours. Waterproof...lies!

Given my many years working in the golf industry, I've developed a special appreciation for all things country club related. I found this polo at one of my favorite little vintage shops in LA. Sometimes all I want to do is dress like an old lady golfer/tourist, this outfit being a prime example. Paired it with these super cheeky new shorts from AA which have become a staple in my closet. Wore this when I spent a couple short days in NY earlier this month and had an amazingly nice time. The city is absolutely gorgeous this time of year, I don't mind the monsoon rain & heat at all. I wore this outfit and variations of it everyday in the past week, quick and easy. I'm always on the hunt for bags from this amazing collectio, so far I've been able to find 4, but there are a couple more I'm still coveting! I clearly remembering finding this jewel back in 2002 tucked away under a bunch of other crap at a loehmann's and feeling like i won the lotto. Oh, and please meet my favorite new summertime heel.
