sweater weather

For me, sweater weather is better weather. I spent the whole day (my last in DC!) with my fam walking around, eating a great meal, and seeing the musts of the capitol. I can't tell you how excited I am to curl up by the fire in my favorite sweater with a mug of tea and just relaaax.

This editorial simultaneously reminds me of some sort of horror film mixed with something post-apocalyptic. I've been watching a lot of movies like that lately, so maybe that's why these stood out.
PS. 5:30 and it's already dark! I love winter but come on....

Fog

The fog always rolls in on these fall nights and leaves me curled up on my couch in big sweaters (I got some new ones by the way--I have to show you guys!) and fuzzy socks. So fashion.

It's a chilly fall evening (and pitch dark before 6...definitely not used to the time change yet..) and these shots, with their weird angles and exaggerated pieces, are only making me more excited to embrace the cold.

Layers

It's finally that time of year where it's cold enough for me to wear multiple outfits in one. My outside facing-the-elements outfit, the comfier stuff that's underneath when you get to take your jacket off, and pretty underthings for movies and hot chocolate. I love fall.

This dress has been my uniform for a little while, i find it so flattering and so easy to just throw on and i'm out the door!
