Nothing like wearing bright colors when the skies are gray--winter doesn't have to be all about dark colors. Just take your summer outfits and add tights and a jacket! (east coasters, I live on the west coast, can you tell?)(ph:lookcloser)
You might remember me posting about THIS sexy trench a while ago (the words 'sexy' and 'trench' definitely sound kind of weird together but it's all about the peekaboos..), and I found this picture of Yasmin Sewell and had to continue the trend of posting about it. I'm on a mission to find a trench with such cool details for myself.

White and neon...I'm somehow still not over it! In other news, you guys have probably noticed I changed up my sidebar a little bit (thanks a lotta bit to my bff Jenna who has the necessary photoshop skills), let me know if you have any issues using the new links so I can take care of them asap!

That little bit of shoulder and elbow skin make this the sexiest and best trench coat ever.

What a showstopper. I always wonder what it must be like to actually be at the fashion weeks and see the throngs of well dressed people all half hoping to be photographed. Eva (I think that's her name right?) has been on the Sartorialist a bunch of times, so I guess she's just used to it. Such a good dress. (phtfs)
I mean seriously, what's not to love about this?(phvanessajackman)
The weather keeps flip flopping in santa cruz and I can't figure out what to wear in this awkward transition period. Today, it's military inspiration. And damn I wish I could pull off those sunnies.(phlefashion)
It's one of those overcast-but-somehow-still-hot kinda days. This look is from Paris fashion week and it seems like the perfect inspiration for a day like today. Kicking off the weekend with Korean BBQ tonight, but for now I'm off to class.(phvanessajackman)
Yummers. Sheer pants, dotted shoes, gold top. She is the best.(phstreetsfn)
Her name is Daga and I'm totally mesmerized. Wish I could pull off a maxi skirt like that!(phwildfox))

I'm taking a break from Santa Cruz and will be spending the weekend in San Francisco! It's so nice that I live so close to this bustling city, I love the energy and how different an upbeat it is here compared to the slowness of Santa Cruz. Being in a different city always makes me want to dress differently, and SF is no exception--channeling these ladies and their urban chic looks going on today for high tea at the Mandarin Oriental, a little shopping trip, and a birthday dinner tonight. Two differently lit shots of the same outfit--amazing what a change in lighting can do. Either way, the baseball hat, the bell sleeve, the well made short--I kind of want it all...(ph?)
